Rather than treating the tenancy as a blank shell, the project team worked with the structure already in place, adapting the former bank into a space designed around the practical needs of modern primary care.

For Concept Health, the project reflects the ongoing need for healthcare spaces that are efficient for practitioners, while also creating a reassuring experience for patients. The scale of demand on general practice environments remains substantial, with the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare reporting 163.5 million GP attendances in Australia in 2023–24.
